My husband and I have come to the conclusion that we are paying way too much for our current home and we always have a large utility bill. Our home was built in 1900 but was refurbished in 1950. Because we are in a rural area, several miles from a fire station, and our home is so old, our insurance is extremely high. So, we have decided to see our home in the Spring (after we do some minor repairs) and build. Our current home is 1400 sq. ft. We have plenty of space and could even downsize. The less room you have the less stuff you have, right? LOL. Here are the floorplans of two houses we like. Which one do you like? I am in favor of an upstairs, what do you think?
